Joy
$3,195.00
One of my favourite playtimes, with my father as a young girl, was when he use to throw me into the air as I yelled in exhilaration and joy. Albeit, mixed in with a little fear, and thirty years on, I continued the play with my own son. The act of throwing a child up in your arms is not only a playful and joyous moment but also a display of trust and connection between an adult and a child. As the child is lifted up, their laughter and squeals of delight fill the air, creating a moment of pure happiness and bonding. The sensation of weightlessness and the rush of air as the child is tossed up and then caught again fosters a sense of security and fun. This simple act represents the beauty of innocence and the strong bond between parent and child.
AS A PIECE OF THE NOSTALGIA COLLECTION THIS SCULPTURE IS COMPOSED OF INDIVIDUAL PIECES OF CLAY ADDED ON TOP OF ONE ANOTHER, SYMBOLIZING HOW EACH MOMENT IN ONE'S LIFE CONTRIBUTES TO THE NEXT, COLLECTIVELY FORMING A UNIQUE STORY.
